I'm walking, doing some recordings and I look up and there it was; the glory of Starbucks. So I stood there in front of the door blocking every potential customers way thinking should I get a tall lemonade passion ice tea? So I decided it was well deserved and I walked in and I heard Damien Rice playing; my first Que that this was going to be a glorious adventure. So I ordered my tea and I heard them make some kind of mocha chocha latte supreme thing, and I heard the steamer and I thought, "wow what a great sound!" So I asked if I could go behind the counter and record the next latte the made, and they agreed! I know you want to hear it!

So I'm walking along, just chillen do my thang, and all of a sudden I see this metal fence. So I think to myself, "OH EM GEE, I can so make a great sound with this fence!" So I took my key out and had it glide across the fence as I walked, and believe it or not, it made a pretty wicked sweet sound, so I decided to record it. Listen?

So I have this fish (her name is Tamika) and she is in my dorm bathroom, and right before I left for my journey I of course went and talked to Tamika, just the normal conversation, where I'm going to be, when I'll be back, and so on. So I'm talking to Tamika and my suite mate comes in the bathroom and takes a quick toilet run, and as she flushes the toilet I think "wow what a great sound". So I ask Tamika what she thought, and she totally agreed that it was a great sound, but she got a little nervous I was going to flush her down the toilet, but I released her nerves by telling her I will never flush her down the toilet. So I grab my microphone and I record me some flushing of the toilet. It was an awesome experience, I felt one with the toilet, I felt this connection, and you should listen to this connection.

Aliens? nah....

As I started to prepare for my adventure, my friends (Amy and Lisa) came up to me and they were like, "hey, can we come?" How could I pass this opportunity down? So of course I said yes. Amy thinks I'm crazy and gets a thrill in taking pictures of me doing "crazy" things and posting them on the Internet. So, I'm just walking (doing nothing crazy or out of the norm) and all of a sudden BOOM Amy takes a picture of me. But this wasn't just any kind of picture she took, this was THE picture of the day! You see, I'm just walking and all of sudden I hear alien's emerging in my microphones, and I freak out, because I think I'm getting taken away from aliens! But than Amy was like "Paige that sound was my camera". So the confusion of gallivanting to a new galaxy was subsided by an amazing sound, and you should listen to it!

Go on, walk up the stairs

I'm walking, left, right, left, right and BAM there it was: Greenfields (my favorite store). I think to myself, "quick stop?" Of course! So I step in the amazing land of Greenfields, and to my surprise an EXPLOSION of noise struck my ears. I was running around the store like a mad mouse, recording sounds left and right (the employee's loved me). Than all of a sudden, I remembered, THERE'S A DOWN STAIRS!!! I stepped on the stairs and WAHOOM a sound of glory came about. So I totally recorded this amazing sound! Ch-ch-ch-check it out

Drift One Strategy

So, I'm sitting, you know just chillen in my dorm, thinking, "hey, film? homework? drift? drift one homework?" Than I was all like, I need to make my map and decide what my strategy is going to be. So I pondered for a few minutes, thinking up a storm, and all of a sudden it came to me. BUS ROUTES. Crazy?... Just you listen. So I'm thinking about what bus I take the most: The 30. Than I start thinking about all the things I miss while I'm on the bus. So than I think, I SHALL WALK THE 30 BUS ROUTE! This was my plan of attack, and I felt like it was a brilliant idea (but all my ideas are brilliant, so...)
